For years, Pittsburgh Penguins center Stu Barnes couldn't score
a goal on former junior teammate Olaf Kolzig, no matter what he
tried. Last night at MCI Center, Barnes played the best game of his
life against his old friend, recording a hat trick, but it still
wasn't enough as the Washington Capitals defeated the Penguins, 5-4,
in a thrilling contest that never had one team more than a goal
ahead.
"You have to give Pittsburgh credit -- every time we
scored, they'd come right back down to the other end and score, so
it was like, up and down and up and down right to the end," Capitals
