I T WAS the gift that nobody wanted.Known for cheese, crackers and
sausages, the gift basket had a better chance of making its way into
a white elephant gift exchange than under a Christmas tree.
Not anymore.
Now they are works of art.
"We get people that get gift baskets and want to take pictures
because they can't believe how beautiful they are," said Chris
Moeller, owner of Everything But Flowers in Danville. "It's amazing
what can be done with a basket."
At Moeller's store, she will sometimes mix and match products for
several weeks before it makes the basket that goes on the shelf.
