SAN ANTONIO -- No matter how fabled the basketball programs at
Connecticut and Duke are, today's Oklahoma State-Georgia Tech NCAA
Final Four semifinal game is no warm-up act.
This unlikely matchup might not feature the glitter of the Duke-
UConn showdown that follows, but the second-seeded Cowboys (31-3) and
the third-seeded Yellow Jackets (27-9) feature the hallmarks of
recent NCAA champions, including exceptional guard play, hard-nosed
defense and an ability to win close games.
"The two teams are very similar," Yellow Jackets coach Paul Hewitt
said. "You always hear about how good (OSU) coach (Eddie) Sutton's
