SAN ANTONIO -- No matter how fabled the basketball programs at Connecticut and Duke are, today's Oklahoma State-Georgia Tech NCAA Final Four semifinal game is no warm-up act.

This unlikely matchup might not feature the glitter of the Duke- UConn showdown that follows, but the second-seeded Cowboys (31-3) and the third-seeded Yellow Jackets (27-9) feature the hallmarks of recent NCAA champions, including exceptional guard play, hard-nosed defense and an ability to win close games.
