Article: Annual event to include car show, raffle, arts and crafts

COOKS will battle for the top prize in chili-making at the 13th annual Chili Cook-Off sponsored by six Tri-City area Rotary clubs.

Attendees to this year's event will have 30 varieties of "People's Choice" chili to choose from, organizers say.

Live music will be performed by the band "Appaloosa," vendors will be selling arts and crafts, and Rotarians will be raffling tickets for prizes.

Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Rotary Free Clinic, which provides medical services to those in need, the Washington on Wheels clinic and the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.

A panel of judges also decides their favorite red and green chilis, and attendees decide the People's Choice ...
