ATHENS, Greece -- Well, Natalie Coughlin now has the complete set
of Olympics medals.
Her bronze in the 100-meter freestyle Thursday night gives the
former Cal star one for every occasion -- plus an extra gold. And she
has the chance Saturday to add Olympic medal No. 5, which would
propel her into rather exclusive company among American women in the
history of the Games.
For Michael Phelps, meanwhile, it was just another day at the
office. He won the 200 individual medley for his fourth gold medal of
the Olympics, his sixth medal overall, with two more still likely.
