BURLINGAME -- The race for Burlingame City Council's three four-
year seats grew Wednesday with the filing of nomination papers by
Planning Commissioner Ann Keighran, Traffic, Safety and Parking
Commissioner Gene Condon and former San Mateo County Expo Center
General Manager John Root.
They now join Vice Mayor Cathy Baylock, Councilwoman Rosalie
O'Mahony and resident Paul Prendiville, who all filed recently.
Only former Councilman Don Lembi has filed for the two-year term
on the seat vacated by Mike Coffey because of personal reasons. The
deadline for the short-term is at 5 p.m. Friday.
The deadline for the four-year seats, held by Mayor Joe Galligan,
O'Mahony and Baylock was extended to ...
