CONSUMERS trying to make their way through this country's health
care maze often find themselves trapped, helplessly searching through
myriad pathways to the right services and health plans for them.
But help may be on the way.
Intuit Inc., the Mountain View company that brought you Quicken to
help you sort out personal finances and TurboTax to help you
calculate and file your taxes online, is now planning a product that
will help you make health care decisions.
Quicken for Health Care will be unveiled in 2007 and initially it
will come to consumers through employers or their health plans,
Intuit said. Down the road, consumers might be able to buy the
