IN THE CONTINUING saga of the coach that wouldn't go away
("Basketball coach gets 'baby sitter'," Sept. 23) I have to ask
myself a few questions:
Q: Why did 32 people, including 14 players from her two seasons at
C.V. High speak up against Coach Nibarger?
A: Is the whole world wrong and the coach right?
Q: Why did a few colleagues appear to rally around Nibarger, even
though they rarely attended her games? None of them were privy to the
conversations and belittlement that happened to the players in the
locker room.
A: Hmmm ... could they be trying to cover their own hides?
Q: Why did most of the starting players on the team, who got the
bulk of the playing time, bravely bring their ...
