Is Highland Drive going the way of 3500 South? The stretch of
Highland between Sugarhouse and Cottonwood Mall has a particularly
interesting mix of home furnishing stores and other small businesses
and a refreshing lack of chain stores.
Highland Drive works because the commercial activity is
integrated into the community. This architectural diversity fosters a
sense of community -- real people live and work here. But with very
