OREM -- One of the largest home health care agencies in Utah County saved about $200,000 last year by using computer technology to make its data entry more efficient.

First Choice Home Specialists, a health care agency that has provided skilled nursing services in Utah homes since 1996, began saving money about a year and a half ago when it began tweaking its business plan.

A member of the management team, Angel Torres, told company executives they could save thousands of dollars if they applied some of the lessons he had learned as a master's student at the University of Phoenix.
