Matt Stara, River Hill, Sr.
The defender was a dominating force all over the field as he
posted a county-leading 18 assists and three goals while anchoring a
back row that allowed just seven goals. Stara, who has used his long,
arching throw-ins to contribute to most of his 38 assists the past
two seasons, capped his career by leading his team to a fourth
consecutive state title, tying the state record.
Zach Barnett, Mount Hebron, Jr.: Defender had nine assists and two
goals to lead his team to the finals of the 3A East Region
tournament.
Johnathan Beltran, Atholton, Jr.: Forward had nine goals and nine
assists to lead his team to second place in the county standings.
