Julie Hollrah, Glenelg, Sr.
Outside hitter recorded a team-high 261 kills and 419 digs.
Hollrah, who also had 39 aces, was at her best during the team's five
postseason matches, posting 75 kills, 17 aces and 91 digs to lead the
Gladiators to the 2A South Region and state titles. "There were times
when she could take over a match," Glenelg Coach Don Beall said. "I
knew if we could get her the ball, the chances were she was going to
put it away."
Allison Cappelaere, Centennial, Sr.: Outside hitter recorded 163
digs, 161 kills, 66 aces and 23 blocks to lead her team to its second
consecutive 3A title.
