October is the month Arthur Miller, probably America's greatest
living playwright, turns 88. It is fitting, therefore, that a major
biography be devoted to his life and work.
Miller has authored such now-legendary works as "Death of a
Salesman," "The Crucible," "The Price," "All My Sons," "After the
Fall" and "A View from the Bridge." They have all been well-received
and performed over and over through the years.
Currently, Miller is said to be working on a play about the movie
icon who for a short time was his wife -- Marilyn Monroe.
