Andy Pettitte probably won't come off the disabled list by this
weekend, and Houston manager Jimy Williams is making plans for
Brandon Duckworth or Pete Munro to pitch the finale of a three-game
series at Milwaukee.
Pettitte, eligible to be activated Friday, played catch before
Tuesday's game at Seattle and said the strained muscle in his left
forearm felt fine.
He threw a light bullpen session Monday and plans a more rigorous
session for Wednesday.
"We'll have to wait and see," Pettitte said. "I'll throw off the
mound tomorrow. I really don't want to think anything until I see how
I throw tomorrow. I threw off the mound yesterday, but it was just
real easy."
