VOLLEYBALL: BYU sophomore middle blocker Lindsy Hartsock earned
Mountain West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week -- her first
career award. Hartsock, an Inkom, Idaho, native, led BYU to a 3-0
record last week, including conference wins over San Diego State and
UNLV. She put away 37 kills in 53 attempts for a .660 efficiency. Her
16 kills against UNLV are a new career-high.

MEN'S TENNIS: Utah's tennis duo of Zach Ganger and Miron Mann
defeated Colorado State's Peter Bjork and Chad Tsuda (8-6) to win the
doubles finals at the Utah Invitational on Saturday. In the singles
finals, Ganger fell to Nils Klemman of Boise State (7-6(6), 7-5).
