DENVER -- Before they left for Denver on Monday night, owner Larry
H. Miller had quite a going-away speech for his Jazz after an
overtime loss to New York.
A particularly loud voice could be heard coming from inside the
Jazz's home lockerroom following the OT defeat, and it turns out --
according to a non-player Jazz source -- it was Miller delivering a
tongue-lashing.
"He said a lot of stuff," Jazz co-captain Raja Bell said. "He got
everything off his chest that he wanted to get off.
"I'm not really at liberty to put out what he said -- it was in
the lockerroom -- but he got off his chest what he needed to get off
his chest."
