This time around, Real Salt Lake didn't allow the second leg of
its expansion derby with CD Chivas USA to come down to an official's
discretion.
Just 11 days after a discouraging road loss at Chivas, in which
the game's only goal came via the penalty spot, resurgent Real Salt
Lake got the revenge it was hoping for Wednesday night.
Andy Williams and Seth Trembly both scored just minutes apart in
the first half, and Salt Lake's defense hunkered down after that in
rolling past Chivas 2-0 in front of 12,581 at Rice-Eccles Stadium for
its second straight win.
