OGDEN (AP) -- Scott Muir has resigned as director of the George S.
Eccles Dinosaur Park in Ogden effective Aug. 1, citing disagreement
with the park's foundation.
"The leadership of the Ogden Dinosaur Park and Museum Foundation
has made it increasingly difficult for me to apply my considerable
expertise and experience in further realizing the potential of the
park as a world-class attraction without equal," Muir said in a
written statement. "Consequently, I have elected to resign my
position as director of the park."
Muir declined Thursday to elaborate on his reason for leaving the
$70,000-a-year post he has held since October.
