In big football games between the two best teams and those that
decide region championships, coaches seldom make any last-minute game-
plan or philosophy changes.
Regardless of the opponent, most coaches see no reason to abandon
the things that brought their teams to that point.
They simply try to get their players to do what they've been doing
all season, but just a little bit better. And they emphasize staying
focused and avoiding turnovers.
That's the position being taken by both coaches for Friday's
Region 7 title game between 3-1 Timpview and 4-0 Provo. Expect the
Bulldogs to stick with their clock-consuming ball-control running
