There's an air of confidence surrounding the Pacific Coast
League's top hitting team. The Salt Lake Bees can hit and they know
it.
"Up and down our line-up we have a lot of guys that can hit the
ball well. It's exciting to watch us play," designated hitter Adam
Pavkovich said after Salt Lake's 8-5 come-from-behind victory over
Tucson. "It's a battle for opposing pitchers -- one through nine
there's nobody they can take a pitch off."
Eight Bees had hits in Thursday's game at Franklin Covey Field.
"It's a real team effort," said Salt Lake manager Brian Harper.
"With the team that we have it's somebody different every night
that's coming up with a big hit."
