Suspects charged in Osage County slaying

Two Topeka men arrested last week in connection with the April
slaying of a rural Scranton man were charged on Tuesday with first-
degree murder.
Robert Luarks, 21, 1111 S.W. Filmore, and Darnell Benton, 22, 1222
S.W. Plass, were arrested in connection with the death of Michael J.
Farmer, 51, who was found dead late April 22 at his rural Scranton
home at 18531 S. Morril Road.
According to a complaint filed in Osage County District Court,
Benton and Luarks face one count each of first-degree murder,
conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and theft. The men are
accused of killing Farmer on April 21 and then stealing ...
