The Topeka Area Retired Teachers Association installed officers
for 2002-03 at a luncheon meeting June 10 at the Holiday Inn, 605
S.W. Fairlawn.
The new officers are: Alice Gannaway, president; Larry Bowser,
president-elect; Sue Buchanan, vice president; secretary, Carlene
Hutcheson; and Larry Carr, treasurer.
A feature of the program was a presentation entitled "Story
Telling" by Mona Magee. The Salvation Army K-6 band performed.
Margaret Fowler and Carolee Wilson served as greeters. Ruth
Lichtenstern lead the Pledge of Allegiance and gave the invocation.
Topeka Day Care's Central Park Learning Center has been granted
accreditation by the National Association for the Education of ...
