Bowling: Meadow Lanes is host to weekend tourney
The Capital-Journal
An amazing year-long run and a pair of two-year streaks will be on
the line this weekend when 60 of the best bowlers in the city compete
in the annual Topeka Top Ten tournaments at AMF Meadow Lanes.
The original Topeka Top Ten, which features the 10 men and 10
women with the highest composite averages during the previous league
season, is set for 3 p.m. Saturday. The format will consist of a five-
game qualifying round, with the top five qualifiers advancing to the
stepladder finals. The youth and senior Top Tens will be played
concurrently at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. All three exhibitions are open to
the public free of charge.
