The Capital-Journal
Trinity Baptist Church, 2046 S.E. California Ave., will have a
free carnival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.
The event will include carnival games, rides, face painting,
prizes, a dunk tank and a moon walk from 9 a.m. to noon.
A lunch of hot dogs, chips and drinks will be served from noon to
1 p.m. Snow cones, popcorn and cotton candy also will be available.
Entertainment and a puppet program will be featured from 1 to 3
p.m.
Sons of Glory, a nationally known gospel music group, will be in
concert at 6 p.m. today in the auditorium of Highland Park High
School, 2424 S.E. California Ave.
