CHRISTOPHER REEVE

He really is super

As Superman, Christopher Reeve was able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but that is nothing compared to what he has done in real life.

Reeve, who was paralyzed from the neck down when he fell from a horse seven years ago, has started regaining some movement and feeling, something once thought impossible after more than two years. With spinal cord injuries, doctors commonly believed the best chance for improvement would come within the first six months after injury, with no hope for improvement after two years.
