Royals: Red Sox come back from 6-1 deficit to hand KC second
straight loss

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- On a pristine spring afternoon, Kansas City
fans were downright ugly to former Royal Johnny Damon.
In return, Damon led the Boston Red Sox as they turned a crisp
pitcher's duel into a bare-knuckled 9-6 win against his former team
Wednesday at Kauffman Stadium.
Even on "School Day at the K," Damon knew what he was in for as he
played the third of three games this year in the city where he broke
into the majors and spent his first five big-league seasons before
being traded to Oakland in 2001.
