Ann Schiefelbein's first choice for the living room was blue, but
she finds the khaki walls much more restful. She uses blue in her
accent pieces.
Rich Schiefelbein also enlarged the closet in the master bedroom
when this room was redone.
Right: The guest room was designed around the four-poster bed. The
wall color is called park bench green.
Below: Every bed needs a teddy bear, says Ann Schiefelbein.
Everything in the main floor bathroom, from the wainscoting on the
walls to the ceramic tile on the floor, is new, except the tub.
The wall under the chair rail in the dining room is painted the
same khaki tan as the adjacent living room. The upper parts of the
walls are papered.
