Patty Allerheiligen, owner of Patty's Retail Liquor, 3705 S.W. Plaza Drive, is leading the petition to stop the city of Topeka's proposal to begin Sunday sales. Allerheiligen said she feels that being open on Sundays won't bring in enough business to make it profitable.

The business hours sign that hangs in the window of Patty's Retail Liquor could change if Topeka's ordinance goes into effect Oct. 26.
