MANHATTAN --- Kamie Ethridge could see the shadow developing very early.

Kansas State's associate head coach watched as 6-foot-2 post player Shanda Murdoch, one of five freshmen recruits added to the team's roster this year, intently eyed the actions and mannerisms of senior All-American Nicole Ohlde.
