KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- Let's try to put Kansas City's 14-6 loss
Monday night to the imposing Chicago White Sox into perspective 21-
year-old Royals pitcher Zack Greinke might understand.
Reality bites.
It was cool to be Zack Greinke in his two post All-Star Game
outings. Giving up only two earned runs over 12 innings, Greinke was
sitting on a nice two-game winning streak for only the second time in
his career.
But those victories came against Detroit and Cleveland. Better
teams than the Royals, no question, but neither on a par with Central
Division leader Chicago.
