Article: Grand jury has been busy in its 3 months

With 10 days left before its authority expires, a Shawnee County grand jury has indicted at least 57 people, including four charged with murder, court records show.

The indictments handed down so far also include drug cases, sex assaults, burglaries, thefts, robberies, perjury, computer-related crime, commercial gambling and promoting obscenity.

There likely are more than the 62 grand jury indictments (five defendants were charged with two cases each), but the indictments that haven't been served can't be disclosed until arrests are made.
