Article: Long-time Topeka builder Pashman dies

Topeka contractor H. Joseph Pashman died Monday at a local health care center. He was 85.

Pashman was a general contractor in Topeka for many years, taking over his father's business, A.H. Pashman & Son, until his retirement in 1994.

He planned jobs, bought materials and supervised the finishing crews as he and his two brothers, Al and John, built homes for Topeka's post-World War II middle- and upper-class residents.
