H. Joseph "Joe" Pashman, 85, Topeka, died Monday, May 24, 1999, at
a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Pashman was a general contractor for A.H. Pashman and Son,
which he owned and operated until he retired in 1994. He served as a
staff sergeant in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific Theater
during World War II. He was decorated with battle stars for Guadal
Canal, New Gorgia, Admirality Islands, Wakde Island, Dutch East
Indies and The Philippines.
He was born Nov. 8, 1913, at Perry, the son of Albert H. and
Bertha Ketchel Pashman. He attended Strickler's Business College.
Mr. Pashman was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic
Church, Knights of Columbus Council No. 534, Capitol Post No. 1 of ...
