The 100-degree heat may be blistering to the body, but it is great for the shaved ice business.

Kids and adults have been buying shave ice cones from Hawaiian Shave Ice, a mobile business owned by Daryl Compton, Rick Avila, Brent Aden and Stan Compton.

Their ice machine shaves blocks of ice into 24-ounce cones, which are served with one, two or three flavors of syrup.
