Charles Colson was upbeat Tuesday, the day after he and other
leaders from the larger religious community met with President Bush
to discuss the White House proposal for government partnerships with
faith-based social service programs.
"It's a very exciting time," Colson said in a phone chat from his
Washington office. "Most of the Christians I've met believe it's time
for new moral leadership in this country."
