Plans for the Taste of Home Cooking School in Topeka are taking
shape after home economist Margaret McCutcheon made a special trip to
the area recently to meet with the staff of The Topeka Capital-
Journal and hold discussions with representatives of several local
businesses involved in the event.
"It's going to be an exciting program and we are expecting a
sizable, spirited crowd," said Norma Chase, marketing director of
The Capital-Journal, the main sponsor of the event. The cooking
school is associated with the popular cooking magazine Taste of Home
and its sister magazine, Quick Cooking.
