Article: Osage County boosts its recyling capability

Osage County officials are optimistic a new recycling center under construction in Lyndon will boost recycling efforts and improve conditions for volunteers.

Recyclables are collected by volunteers in Osage County about once every other month. County officials said the infrequent pick-up times limit participation with the service. Further, with no set drop-off point, volunteers often are forced to set up in parking lots, where they have to battle the elements and struggle with a lack of storage.
