Diana Sue Boyer
MELVERN --- Diana Sue Boyer, 52, Melvern, died Saturday, Oct. 13,
2001, at a Topeka hospice house. She had been ill many months.
She was born Nov. 30, 1948, in Galveston, Texas, to Kenneth and
Betty Bergeron Smith. She graduated from La Marque High School in La
Marque, Texas, and attended Flint Hills Vocational-Technical School
in Emporia. She was a licensed practical nurse and had worked in
several nursing homes including Black Hills Retirement Home in Rapid
City, S.D. She lived in Evanston, Wyo., for several years and in
Melvern since 1988.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waverly.
She married James Boyer on May 5, 1987, in Evanston, Wyo. He
