THIS is the most expensive one-bedroom flat ever to be marketed
in London. Admittedly, the Pounds 3,050,000 property is in one of
the capitals finest addresses, Eaton Place, but for that kind of
money you might expect the extended lease to be lo n ger than 125
years.
Eaton Place, in Belgravia, is home to City bankers, retired
ambassadors and a range of famous faces. Elizabeth Hurley owns a
Pounds 5 million house in the street and David Blunketts home is
within walking distance.
Roman Abramovich, Roger Moore and the Duke of Westminster are
also neigh-bours.
Although the Pounds 3 million flat may only have a single
bedroom, the property cannot be described as cramped.
