Article: Husband in slaying gets new lawyer, court date

FARMINGTON -- A man charged with gunning down his ex-wife and injuring her father has a new attorney and a new court date.

David Drommond Jr., 31, earlier requested a replacement for his attorney, Bill Albright, and on Monday 2nd District Judge Jon Memmott appointed defense lawyer Ed Brass to represent Drommond.

Drommond's next court date is July 9.
