The White House this weekend turned over to Senate
investigators what it described as belatedly discovered videotapes
of 44 of President Clinton's controversial coffees with campaign
contributors.
Congressional sources said they have been told that freshly
examined White House logs indicate that as many as 150 fund-raising
events involving the president or Vice President Gore were also
recorded by White House audiovisual crews.
The tapes of the morning coffees, showing only the start of
the meetings, were ostensibly covered by Senate requests for
documents relevant to campaign financing inquiries submitted to the
White House as far back as last January and again in a subpoena
issued ...
