Pinot Noir is a fine wine. "I'm bored," is just a whine.
What to do: You shouldn't hear such complaints in Traverse City,
though. Michigan's Cherry Capital makes a great jumping off point to
the wine districts of northern Michigan's Mission and Leelanau
peninsulas, but there is much more to occupy the time than merely
savoring the fruits of Bacchus.
It starts with the water - and the beaches.
Traverse City sits at the edge of beautiful Grand Traverse Bay,
and the city extends for miles as it attempts to capitalize on that
