NORAH JONES is the queen of serene.

She earned the crown with her debut album, 2002's "Come Away With Me," a work that ushered in a new kind of "quiet storm" to the music business. She combined soft rock, blue-eyed soul, smooth jazz, classic country and singer-songwriter folk into a soft and comforting sound that proved immensely popular with the Starbucks nation.

Two albums later, Jones now ranks as the best-selling female artist of the 21st century.
