Oshkosh - Terramax, the driverless military truck that made transportation history by completing a 140-mile race through the Mojave Desert, is headed for something much scarier - urban traffic.

Like a nervous teenager taking a driver's license exam, Oshkosh Truck's robotic vehicle passed a road test Tuesday that involved navigating a parking lot and "thinking" its way through situations such as who goes first at a four-way stop sign.

No human passengers or remote controls were allowed for the test, which was monitored by officials with the central research and development arm of the Department of Defense.
