TRACY -- A Tracy manufacturer of kitchen cabinetry has reached a
settlement with the Environmental Protection Agency for violating
federal laws regarding hazardous waste material.
Barbosa Cabinets Inc., 2020 E. Grantline Road, was fined $32,200
as part of the settlement for improperly storing, labeling, handling
and disposing of hazardous material.
"We are pleased Barbosa Cabinets has corrected is violations,"
Steven Barhite, acting Waste management Division director for the
EPA's Pacific Southwest Region said in a prepared statement. "The
