Local & state: Golden Giantsend season with regional loss
The Topeka Golden Giants college-age baseball team saw its season
end Tuesday night with a 6-1 loss to the FCA Grays at the NBC
Central Regional in Clarinda, Iowa.
The Golden Giants went 0-2 at the regional, concluding their
third season of competition with a 13-22 record.
General: Tour leader Rasmussensent home for rules violation
One of it's biggest stars is already gone, and now so is the
leader of the Tour de France.
Michael Rasmussen was removed from the race by his Rabobank team
after winning Wednesday's stage, a day after Alexandre Vinokourov
and his team withdrew when the star cyclist tested positive for a
