SAN LEANDRO -- Lingering agenda items are nothing out of the ordinary for a City Council.

But for San Leandro, a number of issues requiring attention on Monday's council agenda have been hanging around for months and can't wait any longer, as Monday is the last session before summer recess.

"We just have all these items that have come up," said Mayor Tony Santos. "But it's best we take them up now."

That's because council members haven't been able to find a resolution on several of the issues that need approval, either due to disagreement or just plain old bureaucracy.
