Article: Operators of salvage yard cited again in zoning tiff

West Bend - Brothers who operate a salvage yard in the Town of Kewaskum were showered with 32 new citations Tuesday in connection with their business, which is at the crux of a zoning dispute.

The tickets bring to 91 the number of $375 citations Donald and David Stern have received that allege they are operating a junkyard without a license and creating a public nuisance. Town Chairman Ellis Kahn vowed that the town would write additional citations "until this gets resolved."

The citations are in addition to a lawsuit the town filed this month against the brothers and their wives, asking a judge to order the Sterns to remove junked cars, trucks, parts and other items from the salvage yard ...
