LOVERS of delicious wines produced by small, local wineries are in for a treat. A new tasting room, the Mountain Terrace Wine Bar & Cafe, has opened in Woodside on Skyline Boulevard, and it features the handcrafted wines of family vineyards in and around San Mateo County.

It aims to create a Napa Valley-like experience close to home, spotlighting small producers in Woodside, Portola Valley and the hills and slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
