Seemingly daily, but most certainly weekly, it is reported that our neighbors have been killed or shot due to escalating violence throughout our city and state.

And yet it is continuously reported that CeaseFire is "immensely successful" and has "helped Chicago dramatically reduce its murder rate." Independent data compiled by Northeastern Illinois University states just the opposite, that "in many of CeaseFire's targeted areas, violence has increased."
